Our Modern Slavery Act Statement
PVR Contracting Ltd is not a “relevant commercial organisation” as defined under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, as our annual turnover is below the statutory threshold of £36 million. Accordingly, we are not legally required to publish a Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement.

PVR Contracting Ltd operates within the construction sector and delivers works using a combination of directly employed staff, subcontractors, specialist contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Our supply chain is primarily UK based and includes material suppliers, plant providers, labour resources, and specialist subcontract trades.
We recognise that the construction industry can present increased risks associated with labour supply chains and subcontracted works. As a result, we work to maintain oversight of our supply chain and promote ethical working practices throughout all levels of delivery.
-
Our approach to preventing modern slavery is supported through company procedures and management controls relating to procurement, subcontractor engagement, ethical working practices, reporting arrangements, and workforce management. We encourage an open reporting culture and maintain clear processes for raising concerns should any issues be identified.
-
PVR Contracting Ltd undertakes checks during the procurement, onboarding, and vetting stages for suppliers and subcontractors. We expect all organisations working on our behalf to comply with relevant legislation and uphold the same standards regarding fair treatment, employment practices, and prevention of exploitation.
We work closely with subcontractors to ensure they understand modern slavery requirements and their responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We also encourage them to communicate these requirements within their own organisations and supply chains.
-
To support awareness and compliance, PVR Contracting Ltd provides toolbox talks, inductions, and workforce briefings relating to modern slavery and human trafficking. These sessions are delivered to employees and operatives and include guidance on recognising indicators of exploitation, understanding reporting routes, and individual responsibilities.
Where subcontractors are engaged, we ensure they are made aware of our expectations and relevant requirements to promote a consistent approach across all project activities.
-
Should any concerns, suspicions, or incidents relating to modern slavery arise, PVR Contracting Ltd has procedures in place to ensure concerns can be reported, investigated, and addressed promptly and appropriately.
PVR Contracting Ltd remains committed to reviewing and improving its approach to preventing modern slavery and promoting ethical working practices throughout its operations and supply chain.
